Default Wide Glide bars on a Superglide??

I have a 2007 FXDC, nice bike but the bar position (for me) causes some discomfort to my right wrist (getting old I guess).
I am thinking that a flatter set of bars, such as slammers or the bars fitted to the latest Wide Glide might help me.
Does anybody know if the WG bars will fit an '07 FXDC (preferably without new cables and wiring)?

WG bars are set up for internal wiring if you choose but are 1.25 inches in diameter so you will need to think about different risers as well. They are pretty comfortable however.

I used FXDL bars on the stock risers - nice and comfy now.

Have you tried fatter and softer hand grips? I also use the plastic adapter on the throttle, the one that you lay your palm to keep throttle open.

Wink

P51, I like the idea of the FXDL bars, any more info (or photos) would be appreciated...

Guess they would fit straight onto the stock FXDC clamps? What is the finish, I presume chrome?

Thanks for the idea.

doing further research, it seems that not even the signal relocation is necessary... anyone can confirm this?

Just had a look at the bars and reached the same conclusion - the signals are fitted to the hand controls, not the bars themselves. Nice.

nah, the real issue is the signals hitting the tank with the bars in full-lock. if they hit you'd better change risers or relocate them to the forks. I'd rathar move them to the forks as I prefer the bars lower.
