Thanks for all the great responses. Especially you Herr Monk.

For me sounds like a few things are now the case:

1. As poor as it was running before either the Stealership probably did not do a download or used an incorrect map.

2. The fact it seems to be running poorer still means the SE Stage 1 is different enough from the Ventilator to make matters worse.

3. I have yet again let me "damn that would look bad ***" mind set lead me to putting even more money into the bike.

So, ball park whats a dyno run and what tuner would you recommend?

I'm not new to HD's, and not old school either. But WTF is the SE Ventilator?

Screaming Eagle Ventilator. Its an exposed oval air cleaner with a gloss black cover and the SE woody woodpecker on it. Personally I hated it, when I got the bike the Stealership said I had to have that one to put on the V&H pipes. I am new to HD and bikes so I did not know any better.

For about $400 you can buy the TTS tuning kit and put an excellent tune on yourself in a couple hours of riding. This kit gives you the tools you need to calibrate the VEs (VEs change with every mod and are different from bike to bike) and then reprograms the ECU. Its not for everyone, but check it out. There are other alternatives, but you can't do better than the TTS kit unless you hire someone more competent than the average tuner.

You can get a cheap tune for maybe $350 that you may be happy with but a quality tune for all street driving conditions usually involves 4 or 5 hours plus a tuning kit. Over $500 less than $1000.
