I know this sounds stupid but I can live with the stock rubber foot pegs on my WG even if they are ugly. They soak up vibration and my boot sticks in place pretty well because of the soft rubber. But the problem is they aren't wide enough at 4.5 inches from the mounting bolt. Does any one make a similar type rubber covered set that are at least an inch longer?

I bought the "5" Extended foot pegs with Chrome ends" from Harley. I really like them. Gave me an extra bit of room, and they're thinner which gives me just a tiny bit of stretch too

Decided I needed them after I came back from a 3500 mile 6 days on the road trip. And yes, they make a difference, just giving me another position for my feet. . . helps with fatigue/restlessnes.

 

Just what I was looking for. I don't know why I didn't find them in the catalog. I did ask about extended pegs last week at the HD dealer and the "crack-head" parts guy was so offensive that it was all I could do to just get out of there. I'll order a set asap. Thanks again.
