Hi Guys...went to the dealer on Friday to buy a shock wrench for an '09 Street Bob and he told me he couldn't order it 'cause he didn't have the part number and he didn't know how to get it. I told him that I would get the number and phone it in for him to order. He asked how I was going to get the number (thinking I was a total idiot) and I told him that I have friends. So do anyone out there have the part number for a shock wrench to fit an '09 Street Bob???

I thought a shock wrench was a shock wrench. I didn't know there was specific one for the 09 StreetBob.

Well, try 94448-82B. The link I provided shows it fits 09 Streetbob and Replaces OEM 94700-52B

Just entered that number on their Canadian website and got this...


94448-82B

Fits all H-D® mechanically adjustable rear shock absorbers™ (except XR models).

Just what I was looking for...thank-you very much..I'll call and order it tomorrow and give the credit to the knowledgeable people on this site...maybe even tell them they should sign up... Bill

Default Be careful...

The one you're looking at from HD is a flat piece of metal that can bend easily and is not sturdy. Try going to the Sears website and do a search for spanner wrenches. A good one will run you around $50. It will last you a lifetime and will make adjusting your shocks a whole lot easier than the HD model. Just ask me how I know...

Your dealer's part person needs to be replaced ... a spanner wrench is a spanner wrench. If he insists on the Harley part number he should've been able to find it easily ...94448-82B.

I agree...The dealership got a new owner a few weeks ago and the old employees seem to be more obnoxious than usual....'bout time to make some personnel changes. The new owner seems like a nice guy though.
