I've heard both ways that the 21 doesn't handle as well and that it handles just fine. A 23 would be different, but it might take away the handling that makes a dyna a dyna...
my 21" handles better then the 19" I had on it... but that is for another discussion. I have never heard of anyone putting a 23" on theirs. That would look a bit odd I would thing without a lowering kit on the front, hmmmm maybe you can be the first and then write us all about it.
i have put a 23 on touring bikes, street glides and road glides but never a dyna... could not have the bike lowered though wold have to be done on stock suspension height (would be my guess) but i have never done it
i know its not on a dyna but forum member 2DAKERB has a 23" on his night train...check it out over in the night train picture thread...looks sick...i had a 21" inch on my dyna and really didn't notice much of a diffrence in handling
Thats just too gansta for me, reminds me of them dang caprices or whatever that are jacked up like 10 inches with big wheels, just looks out of place, imho
The word "hooptie" comes to mind........and all the negative connotations that go along with it.
23" wheels look great on Big Dog baggers and other pseudo custom bikes but a Dyna with 23" wheels would look as silly (and as ghetto) as the one pictured in the link above.
