Metzeler Tire Pressures
Got a new set of Metz's ME 880's today and the indy who installed them inflated them to 32 (f) and 40 (r).
The tires say 40psi (f) and 50psi (r) on them. Not sure if this is the max pressure or not.
You guys with Metz's, what pressures are you running?
By the way, they are smoother than my stock dunnnies. I understand thet they are new, but I have had 2 sets of dunnis so far and know those tires well.

This has been a hotly debated topic on here recently. i have ME880's and I cannot find anything other than the Max pressure on the tire, and what the HD manual says, but the HD manual was written for Dunlops.
I searched the Metzeler web site with no luck, so if anyone has docs on what Metzeler recommends, I look forward to reading it.
Currently I run at the pressure on the side of the tire, put 16k and the next to last rear, last one had a flat, so it doesn't count.

Metzler 880 Tire pressures
Here are the correct tire pressures:
Solo 2-Up
Front 38-40 40-42
Rear 44-46 48-50
These numbers came from a Metzler Company website, which I have in a file too big to post. Send me an e-mail address, and I'll pass it along.

Yup , this has been my experience too . These tires seem to thrive with higher pressure . I have 6k miles on mine and they look like I have another 6k to go . Also , they keep the bike handling very well .

Check this, those pressures sound a bit high. The attached pdf lists Metzeler tires.

Do people really go out to the garage and add 2-4 psi when they are taking the OL for a ride, seriously? Just put like 40 in the front and 47 in the back and "forget about it"
