I seen some where on here where someone used some paint to paint on thier white walls and it looked good in the picture. That way you could use any tire you want and just paint them. Not sure how it holds up though.

Yeah, I saw that too. One i think was the steamroller fatbob. Looked good. I also found on another thread a guy who did it and said after a year the white paint started to bubble and brown oils started to come out of the tires so they looked bad. I guess it probably just depends on what type of paint you use. That would be a good winter mod to do that would be pretty cheap (compared to buying new tires anyhow).

Thats what I was wondering how it would last on there. Steamroller fatbob looks good though.
JRK5892, a site sponsor, said he's working on getting a matching 100 & 180 WW set for us. He said he'd ping me when they're ready. I only have about 5K on this set so I should be good until October/November (though I'd buy the set now and put them on then).
If you're ok with a 160 rear, I think the Avon's are the only way to go right now.

How is JRK going to powdercoat tires?

He mentioned to me he was working with someone to get WW tires built for 17" rear wheels. There was no guarantee. He was working/trying with an outside vendor, I think.
Of course he wasn't going to powdercoat tires. You know, it's possible for him to do something other than powdercoating.
I'm wondering if we should start a list, like a petition and send it to Avon, Dunlop and other tire manufacturers. It seems the only size rear tire they don't make is the one for the bike it would look best on, the Street Bob!
