Default stock Dyna fuel tuning?

I've read a lot of posts about fuel managment on modified bikes. My 07 FXDC is stock with only a Screamin Eagle K&N air filter and Screamin Eagle II slip on's. I'm not going to change the engine any more than that in the future. But I would like it to run as good as it can. Has anyone used any fuel managment device or down load and found it to help on a more or less stock engine? Has it been worth the money?

Alot of people was fuel managment on stock bikes. You already have the high flow air cleaner and exhaust and i am assuming you did not have the download from the dealer done (which is a waste anyway). I have a Power Commander III and am happy with it. There are several reputable fuel management systems to choose from. I think it would be advantages to use some sort of system. Jamie at Fuelmoto can sell you a system and load a map for you with your set up. I think you will see a differance in how the bike runs and the temperature at which the bike runs. If you want "it to run as good as it can" then this is just a start my friend. Good luck.

Joe, do you have the Stage 1 download from the dealer?

Does your bike run good now? If so, don't go trying to fix what ain't broke.

I would also be interested in doing an aircleaner/intake change without having to pay the " Harley Tax". But one thread I read indicated that the ECU flash will provide the rear cylinder shut off for overheating engines. Where do we find the truth on these issues?

When I told the stealer I punched out my baffles they were trying to sell me on the flash, (without the air cleaner). Do these guys get a commision on this?

I just picked up a FXDI 35th It came with the SE AC and slips on's I was told the bike had the download. I saw somewhere posted all that did was retard the timing? If i got a tuner The bike still wouldnt run to its full potential because the timing would still be set lower?
