RE: Hand grip removal help?
If you removed the stock grips, didn't you just loosen the clamp and slide it off? The clamp holds the grip on. I don't remember any glue on mine.
The ones in your link don't need glue either...my brother has a pair that have been installed and replaced with a different HD brand and neither one needed glue.

RE: Hand grip removal help?
Donnie,
Try grinding the teeth off of an old hacksaw blade and gently sliding it under the grip as far as it will go, then spray in a little WD 40 and slide some more. You should be able to work all the way around the grip and get it off with no damage.
When you put it back on, make sure the WD 40 is cleaned off real good, put a little grip glue on it and slide it back on.
Regards,
Bill

Chrome Handlebars Part # 56079-93T
Tell you something I didnt even replace any cables, I do plan on getting all new diamondback braided cables. I have the diamondback braided brake line but I didn't have any dot-5 so I just carfuly bent the line enough to make it work till tomorrow. I also plan on drilling holes in the bars running new cables in the bars for the switches, there are kinda tight right now. I'll do the diamondback cables for the clutch and throttles cables. As for the grips ( haha ) it wasn't even glued and came right off!! The hardest part of the job was rerouting the cables in the trees.
Take care, Donnie
