So as most of you know my rear support bracket cracked right down the bend, clean break right in half. So I had the bracket welded reassembled and rode on. Well there was still a bad vibe so after further inspection the loop that holds the worm clamp that holds the rear heat shield on broke also, so the heat shield was vibing real bad. So I positioned the worm clamp where I wanted it and hit it with a couple tack welds, hope it holds. Cant figure why I am having so many issues with these pipes that are only a yr old.

 

upon install, did all the parts mate perfectly to each other or were there gaps between the pipes and mount? If you pulled/stressed the pipes to the mounts, that is the problem with the mount. If not, then bad luck I guess.

yeah they sent me a new rear support bracket, yes everything lined up at install and I followed there directions to the T, every torque spec and the torque order. And no way, the loop on the inside of the heat shield that the worm-clamp runs through, breaking off had anything to do with me, it looked rusted. Just crappy luck and I know they wont send be a new heat shield so F it.
