Default Gas gauge and Speedo fogged

My gas gauge and speedo seem to have a film on the underside. Normally it would not bug me, but when the sun hits them, I can not see them at all. Is there a way to remove the glass or do I have to buy new parts?

Well, the suggested protocol for having fogged headlight lenses on cars and trucks is to run with with the lights on to heat and vaporize the condensation. Perhaps you can park the bike in the hot sun for a day or so.

Mine did the same thing once. Two guys at the dealership told me that theirs do it too cause the unit is not sealed. Putting it in the sun should work. Mine never came back.

Very common problem. I had mine changed once and the new one does the same thing.

Is there any way to take it apart with out wrecking it? It is like a film on the underside that needs to be cleaned.

The sun makes mine worse, causes it to condensate even more inside. Had it changed once under warranty. New one does the same thing, I have come to figure out if you want quality don't buy Harley. everything they turn out is ****. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't be caught dead on a metric, but Harley quality and customer service is ****.
