It shows the
Vehicle Weight in Running Order 663 lbs. (301 kg)
and the
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 1085 lbs. (493 kg)
A difference of 422 lbs. If you are going to be pushing the limits there you can go with some heavy duty shocks, My thinking on it is not that the bike wil lnot handle the load, but the rear fender clearance is the issue because the Suspension Travel is only 4.1 inchs on the rear. another possible fix would be to go with a stock rated shock, but 13 inchs long instead of the 12 inchs, I dunno but it might work.

Thank you Dope man. (cool screen name) I think that's what I'll do for now. Just stiffen the shocks. This site is amazing. Helpful people and loads of info. It came with a new Screaming Eagle rear tire. I'm not sure who makes them for Harley. I'll learn as I go. Just want to be safe. I'm going on a longer ride this week end I'll feel better having asked others what they think. Ride safe. Thank you. Glenn
