Ok, I've been doing some checking about side mount plates. I want to clean up the fender so I'm thinking about moving the plate to the side. It seems the trend (the law) is going toward mounting the plate horizontal but is the any reason for mounting the plate on the left side or the right side? The new Harleys are mounted on the left but I like it on the right.
