Default braided cables, where to buy?

while i have the front end apart i want to do braided cables now. i have to replace the brake line with the T-bars now anyways so i may as well do it all.

does anyone know a good place to buy the cables and what lengths i need for each? there seems to be a lot on ebay but most are listed by length

Call up Hill Country Custom Cycles and tell them what you have and they will hook you up with the right cables.

I bought my cables from Dennis Kirk. Insist on Magnum Chromite if you want shiny to last.

I also went with magnum's, and you don't have to guess at lengths, you go to their website, put in your bike, the cables you want and it tells you the lengths and then you just pick colors. The only reason you would need to veer from default length on the site is if you changed your bars or something other than stock.
I couldn't be more happier with mine, a bit pricey and they are custom made so it will take a good 3 weeks before you will see em, but they are good quality.

hill country told me $215 for the cables and $62 to ship them!!!!!!!

that is ridiculous. why would it cost $62 to ship 4 cables?

* i can get the cables for $3 more from the stealership

Damn!! They must have started hitting the crack pipe over there. I purchased a complete package and only paid around 20 something shipping.

i got a brake line from them for $43 shipped.

i guess the other 3 cables are $234. i wont be going with them for the other cables unless they correct their shipping issues. if i knew the lengths i needed i could order them separately for a much better deal!

oh well, all i really HAD to have was the brake line. the others were just one of those "while i'm at it" things
