Hi all Bobbers..
Have owned my 07 SB couple of years now,had it from new and over this period have in most respects mildly modified my scoot,,not drastically rebuilt it.In that time have replaced the front tire once to a Avon Venom 110/90x19 and the rear twice,first from original to a Se 180 then just recently to an Avon Storm 170,other mods were Airfilter/horn cover,PC'd handlebars,triples,lower forks,strut covers,battery band,rattled canned the signals,round mirrors..Black PS HD rears,PS Drop in front(lowered 1") and forwards..then the most expensive mod for me,fitting 2010 SB wheels on my 07.

Future mods are either Santee 1 1/4 17" apes or Burly 16" narrow apes(in black) and big project for next year is a 200 rear tire conversion a la X-Bones.
Anyone with pics of santee apes or 200 tire conversions please slap a pic in here for me please

i dont know anything about either of those, but i had to comment just to let you know that i love your bike, great job, very simple and good looking!

 

Thanks .. was nothing drastic(yet lol) but a few cosmetics and change for the better with suspension mods but took time and a lot of saving ..were all not millionaires

 

Well it's nearly time for my mods..have most of the info,used the search etc and compiled my little library of parts I need..just seem not to find the part # for the 17x6 Crossbones rim ..can anybody help me out please..I have the 2010 Street Bob wheels on my 2007..will any year cross bones rim be ok or do I need a 2010 rim.stoopid question maybe as they should all be the same rim.

oh yea think I'm going to have to go for a detach sissy bar rather than the fixed I have fitted to make more room for the 200 tire...

How are you liking that tail light?

 

The one I have is the Kuryakyn Low Profile L.E.D. Taillight and am well pleased with it..great light and much much brighter than stock..

 

What size apes do you currently have on there? I'm digging your bike.

 

They're the standard mini apes that come with the SB.. I just had them powdercoated along with a bunch of other stuff couple of years ago.. Size? 10"
