Default Pretty bad wobble under heavy acceleration

I have a 2006 Dyna Wide Glide that has a pretty bad wobble under heavy acceleration. I have lowered the bike front and rear with the Burly kit. The front and rear are lowered the same amount. The bike has 16" apes, the rest is basically stock. I had a 98 wide glide that was set up the same....I dont remember it handling as bad as my 06. Any suggestions or ideas????

Kind of like bar slap, just not as bad as that. the front end gets loose and begins to shake back and forth.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Tire pressure? Tire worn? Tire out of balance...could be due to being worn?

Ill double check. The bike is new to me. The tires looked fairly good, but I know the bike did sit for a while. Thanks!

How many miles? Have someone follow you through some corners and see how much your back wheel is moving in the fender. I had that problem with my 99 Wg and it was the swing arm bushings. It was a lot more noticeable with 16" apes. A little crosswind and bang wobble, hard on the throttle and it wobbled.

Well thats pretty low for the bushings to be bad. Check your motor mounts while your checking things. I would lean toward tires like sc longhair said.

I had a wobble at around 75mph, just maintaining speed. I had lowered front and back with progressives 11". I tried a few things, but at the end, True Track solved my problems. I switched to 12" Ricors afterward and still no wobbles.

Just my experience.
