I am going to try to make it again this year. I liked it better when it left from Rt. 66 Raceway in Joliet, but the ride wasn't too bad last year from the fairgrounds. This event is very moving and does an excellent job honoring our fallen soldiers from the past year during the Middle East Conflict. You really have to see it to understand. The party the town puts on is great as well. For those of you that cannot make the Freedom Run and have not seen The Wall, it's worth a trip to go see it. You won't regret it.
