New seat and fairing on Fat Bob
#33
Thank you all, I'm much happier with the result of the mod. The fairing now looks like a part of the bike instead of something bolted on.
And yeah, I now have to modify the turn signals. I was thinking of something along the lines of a LED mirror setup along with switching out the back lighting to LED. Christmas is coming, so I think those would be good gifts to ask for.
Also attached are the pics of the HD oil cooler I put on with some fans behind it. The fans are for cooling while I'm stuck in traffic during the wonderful Vegas summertime. I put the switch on the electrical box cover where it's easy to reach and was easy to hook up to accessory power. I ran the wiring under the tank and down the clutch cable to the cooler. I'm not done with the wiring yet, the connections at the fans are twisted and taped until I can pickup some more shrink-tube and solder the connections properly.
Another project I'm working on are are set of Saddlemen saddlebags I picked up cheap. The leather on them is in perfect condition, but the plastic backplates are cracked, broken, and shot to hell. I have some aluminum diamond plate that I am going to cut as a new backplates for them and add in the cut out for the dyna shocks. I'm also going to come up with a quick-detach setup for them. I've been looking on the forum and have a few ideas. I was also thinking of using the diamond plate as highway peg extender bracket setup for my forwards.
