Default OK, Cobra Fi2000R or Vance & Hines Fuel Pack???

OK, I just ordered my exhaust, it took me a while to track it down because it was discontinued, but I finally found it. The exhaust is a Cobra 3 1/2 slash cut exhaust. My question is, I need a fuel management system and I don't know if I should go with the Cobra Fi2000R or if I should go with the Vance & Hines fuel pack, please give me some advice. Thank you.

I am not familiar with the Cobra, but have HAD a fuel Pak and would not buy another one. Even after talking to V&H a couple times and trying a few different settings my bike ran like a cold carb bike in the winter and still had heat issues in traffic.
Swapped for a Power Commander III USB and now I am content.

I had both on my bike at one time or another. I did not like either unit at all. Both make the bike surge at low RPM's and my gas milage went to **** (Granted you should see a drop in it with performance enhancements but this was really bad). However that being said, if I had to choose the lesser of 2 evils it would be the V&H FP, just for the ease of use and installation and customer service I received from them.
However I would say save your money and get a Power Comander from Fuel Moto, its not much more and you'll be much happier with it in the long run.

I have a fuelpak on my bike now. But iam not happy with it, i did not see a big difference in power and it runs hot in traffic. I am going with the PCIII or IV as soon as i get the money.

I just got the Powercommander V and it comes preset from fuel Moto. I've had no problems and it's very easy to mount.

And if you are JUST changing your exhaust you won't need any fuel management system. You only need it if you change BOTH the intake and exhaust.

Ok, Thanks for all the input on this. I contacted Fuel Moto and Jamie recommended that for what I am looking for to go with the Power Commander III unit and also the stage 1 intake. The price was reasonable. They seemed very knowledgable and professional, so next week my new exhaust and Power Commander should arrive so I can install them. I will post after I install them. Thanks again.
