Consider also checking that the fork tubes are straight. Had that issue on my shovelhead - wasn't easy to spot but if you look real close you should be able to tell. A short straightedge may also help.

May want to check the rear axle. My dyna had a very similar wobble and it turned out to be a bent rear axle. Hope u find the culprit.

Just did steering head bearings and rebuilt front forks and now it wobbles? I'd guess that's where your problem is, with proper steering head bearing adjustment and installation being the first thing I'd check. Also, just because a part is new doesn't mean it's right.
Lowering the rear increases rake which increases straight line stability. Millions of guys have put on shorter rear shocks without causing front end wobbles.

sounds like steering head adj. to me.
has anyone done it? what was the fall away?
how are the front wheel bearings?
The older tapered roller style had to have the endplay set.
the spec was .002" to .008"

Default wobble on fxdx ....

ive had one experiance with death wobble at 100mph ....start from *** end of bike working forward to rectify problem! ie rear axle /bearings tire/wheel/air/balance etc...shocks/ mounts/swingarm etc....you get the picture.trust me it is the only way to diagnose problem...had an old biker (1%er) tell me this: front end wobble check your *** end ,*** end wobble check your front end ....if both wobble ,your too damn drunk to ride

Default I had a bad tire once

I had a bad front tire once that would shake at similar speeds and actually create a bar slap on my ninja. It was invisible on the balancer and didnt show any odd wear signs either. I just said screw it and bought new rubber front and rear and fixed the problem. I mount all of my own tires and NEVER balance a motorcycle tire and out of about 30 sets of tires only 2 had to be balanced due to poor tire quality. Considering the speeds I rode i would definitely say balance will never cause a wobble as its an up and down problem and not a lateral issue. I am also a firm believer in the True Track kit as well. I love my street bob but man they arent right from the factory. New tires and a True Track is my vote.
