I'm with ya on both counts.
a) It really looks good and fills the front out nicely.
b) The pics kinda remind me of the fight scenes in the old Batman TV series when I was a kid. The camera was always at an odd angle, but it always made the shots more interesting.

Wonder what a 7" would look like on a 2010 wide glide?

I'm gonna have to find out!

Thanks George
Yeah, I decided to get it powder-coated in gloss black to match the stock unit and to match the frame.

Probably even better with the wide trees.

Agreed. The WG suffers even worse from that case of petite headlight syndrome as a result of the wide trees, LOL. Can't wait to see pics if you end up doing it...

I would just like to point out to anyone else that may want to do this that all that needs to be done is to gently work the rubber grommet out of the lamp housing from the inside out and the terminals can then be individually pulled though the back of it after disassembling the head lamp connector.

I would remove the electrical tape, it will probably peel up anyway and use a small drop of super glue along the cut of the grommet to stick it together again (super glue works great on rubber) and a dab of silicone on the inside of the lamp to seal and hold the grommet in place so water wont wick up through the grommet.
CB
Good advise, couldn't manage to get mine to work it's way through that small hole, but I am sure with time, it would have been possible, but either way, I can't see the seam, even without the tape. Maybe will try the super glue if it begins to bother me..

I'm gonna order one and then try and find someone locally to powder coat it for me.

It makes such a big difference in the look of the bike.
