7" Headlight Mounted (fav mod yet!!)

I'm with ya on both counts.
a) It really looks good and fills the front out nicely.
b) The pics kinda remind me of the fight scenes in the old Batman TV series when I was a kid. The camera was always at an odd angle, but it always made the shots more interesting.

I know it is after the fact, but you did not need to cut the grommet (at least that is what I am assuming you call the rubber gasket and cut). Please don't think I am trying to criticize you as I am not, you have to do what you feel you have to do.
I would just like to point out to anyone else that may want to do this that all that needs to be done is to gently work the rubber grommet out of the lamp housing from the inside out and the terminals can then be individually pulled though the back of it after disassembling the head lamp connector.
I would remove the electrical tape, it will probably peel up anyway and use a small drop of super glue along the cut of the grommet to stick it together again (super glue works great on rubber) and a dab of silicone on the inside of the lamp to seal and hold the grommet in place so water wont wick up through the grommet.
