I saw some of the Performance machine Renthall grips on a couple of bikes at Custom Performance in Phoenix this week. They are awesome! Dirt bike grips in one inche diameter with black end caps. I want!! But $149 per Pair???
Rubber VS Leather (or leather'ish...ostrich maybe)
Has anyone had experience with both the rubber and leather grips? The reason I ask is that the rubber grips over time get sticky in a nasty way. It would seem to me that the leather would absorb the sweat on your hand, where with the rubber, it doesn't absorb so your hand never really drys out. I would like your opinion on two materials just to get a consus and figure out for myself if I want to go the leather route.
Stubby I like them a lot. They have a nice flat spot for your thumb. Thay also perform well when you're just hanging on by your fingers. Only problem is the $170 you'll have to spend to get the matching foot pegs if you have forward contols.
