Default Air filter hitting knee hard to get to rear brake pedal

Hey everyone. thinking about getting a new street bob but having a problem with the air filter hitting my knee making it hard to get to the rear brake pedal with forward controls. im kinda short 5'5" everything else with the bike is good except for this. anyone else have this problem or have a solution.

I'm taller than you but I had the same problem. I fixed it by trashing the stock air cleaner cover (except for the trim ring which I pried off and stuck back on the new air cleaner cover) and put on the smaller HD smooth round one. I then added the extra long Harley chrome and rubber foot pegs which are about 1 inch longer than normal ones.

change the intake, get a brake pedal pad for a touring bike, or go with mid controls.

K&N cone style breather....
I'm 5"11 with 34" inseam and currently run mid controls....Hwy pegs on order.
My knee is no where close to the breather....
