Intake Solenoid Connector

Intake Solenoid Connector
I need some advice. I replaced the stock air cleaner on my 2010 FXDB Street Bob with a Joker Machine 4" Rond model with internal breathers. Straight-forward installation. However, there was a cord with a plug connected to the back of the rear of the stock air box.
I looked in the service manual for my bike ands it says "HDI models have unique backplates. These parts may be distinguished by:
A Different intake with a solenoid-operated trap door assembly at the mouth of the intake.
An intake solenoid connector on the backplate."
So I checked the diagram and the backplate and this is what it appears I have.
So, what is an "HDI model" and what do I do with the plug?
The Joker Machine AC has no plug of course. It appears that the plug is used to open the mouth of the stock AC, but now that it's gone that isn't needed. Is it just a matter of tracing it back and unplugging it somewhere?
Anyone had experience with this?
Thanks
