I do feel weird thats kinda why I posted it, Things like - sell the bike - were going through my head.
I have a 7 year old daughter and I don't want her to lose her parents!!
But I'm not going to sell it I'm just going to be as careful as I can
and always keep my attention on the road and whats around me.
Donnie
I feel exactly the same. I have a 19 month old that I love more than anything in the world
...even more than my harley.
And every single time I go out for a ride I pray that it won't be the last time I see her.
.................................................. .......................................
when some douchbag asks why I'm wearing a big bulky full face
and not the little (effective as cardboard) beenie helmet...that's my reason.
..because my little girl is more important than her daddy looking cool.
.................................................. .......................................
My friend, who just started riding a month or so ago, made a comment the other day.
He said if he got in a wreck and managed to survive, he'd probably call it quits.
I have to admit...it's hard to say..but to be honest..
.I think if I was able to make a full recovery, I'd be back on.

Two lives ended in a split second, hopefully it was a split second for them.

A wake up call for you Donnie. And it is obvious you are concerned for all.

Ride to the funeral and pray for the family of Albert and Sharon.

As for ridin after an accident Todd, about ten years ago I was seriously injured
in a low speed, 30, ran off the road incident.

I found out that you don't have to be goin real fast to get hurt real bad.

Scapula scattered, eight ribs, serious neck injuries, hurtin to this day.

My full face Shoei looked like it had been dragged under a car.
My face would have been rubbed off my skull.

Couldn't work for six months, had to sell that hog.
Took a few years to get the money up, but I just can't kick the habit,
ridin for 40 years, only one serious incident, but a split second can do it to ya.

Ending here by quoting Donnie:

"Please people be freaking careful out there and for gods sake pay attention!"
