I don't claim to know everything at all. I certainly wouldn't make a choice then decide to do the research. I would make a choice BASED on research.
So, sounds like the OP wants us to do his research for him. That comes with a fee...a little sarcasm.

This was something I ran into with my FB. My arms were in a locked out position while riding which was uncomfortable and kind of unstable. I replaced the stock bars with Street Slammers expecting a major improvement and was somewhat dissapointed. The reach was only slightly improved but I found that the bars now placed the grips in a higher position which puts more stress on my shoulders. I might should have gone to the 2 inch riser extensions with the stock bars but there's no way to tell if they'll be any better until I just do it and I have no plans to change for now. Both of my shoulders are blown out from weights and sports so I'm sure that's a big part of it.
