I love the bike, love the bars, but IMO the renthal pad takes away from the look of the bike and looks out of place. Just my.02. I think it's badass but the pad looks too dirtbike for me.
ahh thats a pad in the middle of those bars - i couldnt figure out what that was - yea i think it would be better with out - overall though im diggiin it! cant wait to get my wheels on - those are makin me jealous as h3ll!!
And the frisco/cali style of bike is not purly for looks, its more functional then anything else... Try lane splitting with wide apes or drag bars, not gonna be easy!
Replying to an old thread, but what the hell. I don't like the pad or the aluminum colored bars. I would've just gone with some all black T Bars, but the look is overall great.
A lot of people outside of California don't understand why bikes are set up like this. Most guys riding Dynas set up like this are not out for your normal Sunday put.
Having high bars with your mirrors, speedo, tach keeps you from having to move your head very much, if at all. The fairing keeps wind directly off your chest, because when you ride a Dyna like that at 90 mph, you'll want that fairing.
Oh, and forgot to mention narrow T-bars for lane splitting!
