Unhappy 2000 Dyna misfires

Hello gang. I have a 2000 Dyna wide glide. My bike has a misfire while underway. Not sure where to start T/S ing. bike was recently serviced at the Dealer. never had a mis before. Had the basic 10 k maintenence performed. I have a mukini carb . Engine has been modified before I purchased it with a cam and this carb also set of vance pipes. but as I said, it ran great never had a misfire before. My question is, could this be something as simple as a set screw or something? Seems to happen under load, decelerating or accelerating or cruising. New plugs, wires filters always a fresh tank of fuel. Please help!! This is a really annoying prob and I really don't wanna get the dealer involved if there is a simple fix. She has just under 10 k miles. Thanx

You might need to clean the carb if the Mikuni has been on there since new. 10,000 miles on a 10 year old bike means that it has sat quite a bit. Carbs can get gummed up and cause an occasional misfire.

Check the plug gaps, I believe the 10k checkup includes replacing the plugs. Quite possible the gap wasn't checked or set.

Default Misfire stressed

Thanks gang for the info. Still no fix yet. I'm going to look into that new choke, is it possible an incorrect installation could cause my problem?
