Default 2010 WG w/ Tank Lift

I just completed a tank lift on my WG and am curious to hear opinions. I ended up lifting the tank about 2.25" in the front while leaving the rear mount alone.

I am between a rock and a hard place! I am thinkin of a tank lift but also love the low and long look of my wide glide. In my opinion it looks good with or without the tank lift. I would like to see some more pics if you have some?

Not hard at all. It took me about 30 min. And most of that was draining the damn near gallon of gas that was left in the tank(after I rode 30 miles home with the gauge reading empty). I went with the 3" kit, so I had to swap the crossover line out with a longer one(came with the kit). But I think if you go with a 2" you can just unbolt, add lift, rebolt and done. Should only take like 10 min that way. The only down fall is my gas gauge is even more f'd up than before. I'll ride the 15 mile trip to work on a full tank and it reads 1/2 empty.

I did a 2 inch with a full tank of gas!! I recommend doing it with less, I just didn't have good weather to ride it and drain it and I was impatient. Lossen the back bolt, remove the front bolt lift the tank (I had my wife hold the tank and lift it up). Put the lift on and bolted it in place. 20-30 min. You may have to lossen the dash to pull some wire out.
