Whistle on shutdown?

Whistle on shutdown?
Have you ever had a "whooooo" when you cut the motor off? I took it by the shop today, and they said was normal. That sometimes you might get some compression coming out of the air breather depending on the stoke the motor was on when I cut it off.
I am at a little disbelief. What are your thoughts?

Yep, definitely happens and also told it was normal - althought I sought the advice of someone other than the dealer shop that seems just as likely to tell you an oil leak is normal. Mine almost always seems to do it when it's cold - as in starting it up, moving it a few feet, and cutting it back off. Never really heard it after it has run for a while and I shut it down. Not sure why - could just be my imagination.
Actually I don't think I ever heard it do it until after I put a stage 1 a/c on it.

I found a reply on another forum, that one person had the same issue, and the fix was traced to this:
It turned out to be coming from the gas tank, not the engine. It was a small pin hole leak in the fuel pump exit hose in the tank. It was air moving thru the pin hole that caused the whistle. The whistle also happened after turning on the ignition before starting. It seems to be a common problem, the hose rubs against the tank and causes a small hole.
With that being said. Is it really "normal"? Honestly? Your bike should vent a "whoooo" when you turn it off? I don't really care for it.

Mine definitely comes from the air cleaner and started after I switched to the stage 1. Right after. I remember hearing it on the first run and thinking I must have installed it wrong and caused an air leak somewhere. I started the bike up and rode it around to the front of my house and turned it off and heard the whistle.
