Is this somethin' I can do on my '07 FXD? Most of the things I can do to this bike are things I can take or leave, but this is one that I can say right up front that I really like. Is it a doable deal without any major fabrication? I did a search and didn't find much for my specific application. I also looked at the usual places online, but didn't find any kits.

i've seen a few fat bobs with them and should be do-able.

 

They are standard on Fat Bobs. You can do it, but may need to fab a mount like I did.
Depends on width of trees, and height between plates.

 

buy an oem fatbob headlight i actually traded mine to a guy with a 06 or 07 wideglide we just even traded and it was plug and play just a quick connect inside the right side of the frame behind the little rubber grommet post an ad in the for sale section possibly? or you could post under the dyna tab people wouldnt be to upset lol
