I've been asked that a few times. As stupid as it may sound, I've always wanted an old school bike. As far as I knew, old school didn't have 1.25" internally wired bars. Just a personal preference I guess. I do want to find a cleaner way to hold the cables and wires down. I'd also like to shorten the clutch cable a bit, but for my first stab at it, I'm pretty satisfied.

16's are the only way to go. As you can see in this photo I used some chrome plated clamps to hold my cables. I guess you could paint or powder coat them black if that's you poison.
