Thunderheader is all one piece . It has a bracket welded onto the pipe behind the collector . It then bolts onto a bracket that comes with the T-header , that mounts to the side of the bike .

Hopefully the forward controls will be in tomorrow.
I'd like to put them on ASAP.
I have the a/c kit and I'm just waiting on the TH. Rich products said it would be shipped out tomorrow.
How are you able to deal with Rich Prod. directly? Ordering through the dealer you're employed at?

How is the black compair to the chrome? I hear the chrome turns yellow after a while and the pipes by the cylinders turn blue.
Does the black chip or turn colors or any other issues with it?

Also if you spray grill paint on the inside of the pipes it will prevent them from turning blue Ive heard. Can anyone give info on this?
Is the yellow tint that happens over time easily removed?

The chrome yellows/blues because you need to get the bike tuned. I rode mine for over a year with just a canned map from powercommander.com. The chrome also started rusting relatively quickly. Within 3-5mos after install but I didn't have a garage and left the bike outside.

I recently rattlecanned the headers bbq black and left the collector chrome. I think it looks cool.
