yep it bolts right on, fits very nice. A buddy gave me a little decorative spike a couple of years ago that is threaded 1/4 - 20 and that is what I use to put in the empty hole when I have the solo seat on but you could use anything you like. Also if you do not already have one you will need to pick up an extra blind nut for the forward seat mounting hole unless you are moving the rear one forward permanently.

I have the mustang solo tripper. I've put in a couple of 500 mile days and it was fine. I think its about as minimalist as I could go and still be comfortable.

 

I had a distressed leather solo seat on my 'Bob. Absolutely loved it! I "salvaged" it after Sandy, rinsed and cleaned it, and it is now awaiting installation on my Wide Glide.

Mustang vintage solo , I haven't felt the need to change after 2 riding seasons with it, I guess that's the one for me! 5'10" 180lbs 30" inseam

 

Man you went to great lengths to distress that seat.

 

Thinking about putting Corbin's Hollywood solo on mine. But kind of expensive.

 

I've got a Mustang solo with the backrest... Man, what a difference. The backrest really helps, and it just slips out if you don't want to use it.
