+1 to what Lorance said. Bought a 09' SB solo seat and it looks and fits great.I like the perforated look on that one. Comfort is OK-think over the winter i'll be sending it out to Mean City Cycles for a re-work to make it a bit firmer to hold my old azz though!

Thanks for the feedback...I looked at the HD Brawler today, which is all leather, but not cheap - $299 less 10% percent from the dealer.

I also looked at the Wide Glide seat which looked and felt good...only $126 new at the dealer.

They offered to have me come by and take a ride with my bike on both seats, or any other I want to try. Sounds fair...I have $125 in "Harley cash" to spend, so most likely will go with a HD seat, but might check classifides first.

I may ask about the Street Bob seat as well...

What pattern do your SB seats have? Are they plain or perforated? I saw one with lines/ridges in it from an '08...

What model Airhawk fits the up-front? How does it look?

The 08 SB seat has longitudinal stitching in it but I do not like that as much as the 09 SB seat. It is more ordinary. I will try to get a close up pic and post it for you.

ok here is a close up pic of the 09 SB seat. Sorry, it is a cell phone pic but it isn't too bad.

Thanks Lorrance66...I think I like that style better as well...the picture looks just fine...does this seat attach right on with no issues? What did you do to plug any remaining holes in the fender?
