Stock Street Bob Handlebar Height
#11
18.5" with the bike upright and the front wheel straight. My bars are pulled back about an inch which might change the measurement very slightly but if so would make it lower.

I got 18.5 too, with the bars standing up almost vertical. You could roll them back to make the 15" rule, but they're gonna pulled back quite a bit.
Alot of these laws don't make any sense to me. As far as apes go, there's a bunch of states that set the limit at the rider's shoulders, which I understand. But 15" from the seat is BS.
Just wait until the cycle seat belt tale comes true.

Thanks Sumput and to others that measured. If the MoCo can market these bikes in Canada then how did they get around the reg's??? I worked in an automotive production environment and am very familiar with working with Transport Canada and FMVSS's. Everything we built had to meet all requirements...no if's and's or buts. If Street Bob's are surpassing the 16" limit they must have found a way to satisfy MTO in Canada. Maybe the PDI spec is to install the bars pulled slightly back so they don't exceed the 16"?? I'll have to do some digging. Thanks again guys...great info.

bar height
I don't know why im having such a hard time finding the most accurate measurement of the height of the stock 2009 streetbob handlebars. I got some people telling me its 10, some its 12, some its 9. I measured and I could get all those numbers if I try hard enough. Im just trying to get some damn 12in T bars without the need to change all my wires and cables. Anyone know anything, it would be really awesome. Thank you!
