Home Despot and Lowes carry aluminum stock, and steel, 2" wide by 1/8" thick, easy to work with. I have made a few parts out of it and they are very sturdy.

What size are the bolts for the forward control mounts ? 3/8" ? fine or coarse threads ?

great job i made a set for a buddy at work that are shaped just like the harley plates and then welded on some steel tubing and we marked the tubing off and drilled holes thru it looked good then ran them thru the paint line at work for the black electra coating.

Man if my bike was blacked out id have it made at work. with the powder coat line and electra coat.

But, if you see this, can you share your measurements? Like total length, and where the bends are?
