Default try a relay kit

This will give you full (13.2-13.6) voltage to the light instead of the 12v from the ign switch.The small downside is 20% less bulb life.Worth the trade0ff

Hi,

This is an old thread but takes up just what I was planning on doing: changing the headlamp housing without splicing but instead re-use the H-D connector from the old housing.

NoLongerAmember, MyBeerBelly and the threadstarter: Do you have any advice for me when doing this that hasn't come up in this thread yet? Would be very appreciated if I got some hints in the right direction on this.
