I bought it at a cycle shop (not a HD Stealer) I'm pretty sure it was $44.55 I don't have my invoice handy... I'm still going to go the smooth reflector route, the stock bulb defuser distorts the beam big time.. makes it act like a giant halo no beam in front, which sorta defeats the purpose of changing it out in the first place...LOL

That’s a point, I didn’t know I fried until I took off the headlight ring (for something I don’t remember)
I have an older bike that connector was real heavy duty and it melted, I couldn’t believe it, I didn’t have that much time running w/the high on ? anyway you do have a point about the time, keep in mind “if” something did short, believe me (I seen this happen to one on the road) I hope you carry cable cutters w/you or have a master switch that cuts the battery off. because that view of the poor biker running around begging anybody to get a fire extinguisher, stays with me, he would be better off cutting power.
