I respect the "to each his own" idea....I ride with some guys with RK'S and SG'S. But; there is just something about pointing my Fat Bob off in a corner and not feel like I have to slow down to turn. Maybe it is riding styles, I don't know but the RK will not corner like my Fat Bob and I can ride just as many or more miles a day as they can.

If I need to take more than I can strap to it I will just drive my GMC. I just ain't into the windshields and lazy boy seats.

If I were riding a Bagger,I'd wager that every time that I opened the garage door to go somewhere, even if it was just to go to the local oasis or "whatever" the OL would want to go along. Not that there's anything wrong with that but every time? I need my space, to clear the air and relax.

I don't want a bagger either, that's why I bought a Street Bob. Sometimes I even amaze myself on how smart I am.

What luggage are folks using on their sissy bar? I'm looking at getting a t-bag, just don't know which model is the right one. I won't be doing anything more than say a 4-day/3-night trip any time soon. So I just need to carry a enough gear for shortish tours around the peninsula.

I just ordered a "low" detachable (plates, bar, rack, pad, etc) sissy bar. Still need to get a pillion and passenger peg mounts, then I'll be set...for now.

We use this one.....http://www.easternperformance.com/pr...ley-%26-Metric

Slips right over the sissy bar and is expandable.

Just bought an '10 RK after coming back from Daytona and riding my "08 FXDC 1500 miles while there for a little over a month and have to say I am more comfortable on my Dyna witha Mustang seat and forwards than I am on the RK. When friends ask me to explain that statement I tell them that the Dyna is like sitting in a recliner while the RK is like sitting on a toilet. AND I can put an a couple of hundred miles a day on the Dyna and it's more comfortable that the RK. Maybe with a change of bars and some seat time on the RK it will get more comfortable. I hope so as I bought it so my girl and I could ride together. Only solo on the Dyna.

Just out of curiousity, have you ever ridden a "bagger" before?

On the other hand you never hear someone say when you going to get a smaller bike like a sportster, I wonder why that is? LOLOL!!!

But really WGAF what anyone rides, I sure don't...
It makes no difference to me

You get a big bike when your passenger gets too big for the "limited space".
