Exclamation Funky noise when shifting gears and cluttering

Guys,
I know there is a bunch of threads on this... but not specifically to what I've been experiencing.
I have a new FXDB- 1400 miles on it.. Got the 1000 mile service done not too long ago. These past few days I started experiencing a LOT of cluttering when up-shifting and it goes through pretty much the whole gear. It's bad especially when I get up to 5th and 6th (though it makes the noise on all gears). I am not sure what's going on.. I've been riding carefully- no craziness just yet.. Also when I try to up-shift I get the clunk, but worse than when I first got the bike (sometimes it's a double clunk).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hummm... Not sure what this could be, maybe clutch is out of adjustment. I know you just had it serviced, but those monkeys sometimes mess up. I'd say take it back to the dealer since you just had it serviced, also its under warranty so they will fix it on their dime.

By cluttering do you mean harder to shift or baulking....if so maybe they have played with the clutch adjustment and the clutch is not fully disengaging when shifting. As shimmon has said its their pigeon let ,em sort it.

check to see if the dealer over filled the trans. that can cause shifting problems. I use trick shift in my trans. also 1st gear and 5th gear are cut differently so they may make different sounds. check clutch adjustment @ clutch under derby cover and also the cable freeplay.

+1 on checking your tranny oil level and the primary oil level. Sometimes it happens that atech could get called to a different bike to help out somebody with a question and forget what was done or wasn't done. The service manual has a caution about adjusting the clutch when the bike/drivetrain has any heat in it. Maybe a tech will chime in about this.
