man that looks awesome!!!! but i would prob change the seat, looks like with the clip ons it would be a ball crusher, if you cound shape a seat bump of kinds that would be trick... etiher way man i love it... had ideas of doing this on mine in the past. love the look!
Man those look super slick!!! I have thought about this for a while and was riding the other day putting one hand down to where clips would sit trying to get a feel for the ride position - you have now helped me visualize the look even better. looks like you clipped them to lowered tubes above the tripple clamp. What brand of clip-ons are they and did you have to modify anything to get them to fit?
All the pics you posted a too far away...The "clip ons " are above the top tree and I can't really see how they are mounted...It would be better if you gave us a better look dude.
looks like he just slid his tubes up the tress and camp them on there, i know on all my cafe and sport bikes they are just camp style bars, like 2 allen heads in there and it is a pinch clamp
JRK has the right idea....basically slid the tubes up thru the top tree about an inch and a half, and the housings clamp on to the tubes..pretty simple. Took me forever to find a company to make the kit due to the rare 49mm tubes..and no you cant use gsxr clipons because they have a tapered fork tube (48mm to 49mm). I really appreciate all the positive feedback guys..truely do!
Great looking bike! I always liked that look. Back in the day I had a set on my Norton and loved 'em. I would consider doing that now except I don't think my back would approve.
