Default well off with the fork brace...

I have been really unhappy with my front end. It just has seemed too damn stiff with the small bumps. I got some ricor intiminators....no help really. Then I found and interesting little tidbit of info on progressive site. They mention that the fork brace can cause stiction and if the front responds poorly to smaller bumps, uninstall fork brace and see if that was the cause. Sure enough....fork brace off, the bike rides 100% smoother. Oh well, I liked the way it looked. Anyways, if anyone owning a fork brace is unhappy with their small bump response, may want to check this possibility out.

Am I correct to think you have aftermarket springs in your forks?

Mounts above the front fender to prevent the fork legs from twisting: http://www.superbrace.com/proddetail.asp?prod=5191%2D03
