Just bought a 2011 street glide and loved the sedona orange the second day. Went to sign the paperwork for a leftover 2010 in vivid black, but took a second look at the orange and loved it.

 

I saw the burnt orange today at a dealer, nice color.

 

I think the sedona orange Fatbob would look great with the rest of the bike blacked out.

 

The sedona orange kinda reminds me of the old aztec orange HD had. It looks good in person and wouldn't mind having a bike in that color myself. As for the white denim, I'm only guessing since I haven't seen it in person but, white chalk keeps popping in my head.

 

There is only one true harley color "BLACK"

 

Color is a personal preference so it is hard to advise, but based on what you have told us I think you would be happy with the Sedona Orange. I just purchased a 2010 Fat Bob in Red Hot Sunglo. It was the only color I really considered other than Vivid Black, and like you I wanted something different from everybody else.

But the 2011's are in at my local dealer and I saw both the Sedona Orange and the Cool Blue Pearl. They both have a nice metalic flake (like the Red Hot Sunglo), but the Cool Blue is too much of a baby blue for my taste. The Sedona Orange is brighter than the Red Hot Sunglo, but not a traffic cone orange...more of a warm burt orange. Of the 2011 colors I would be choosing between Sedona Orange and Vivid Black.

If I were you I would order the Sedona Orange. If you don't like it when you see it, Vivid Black would be easier to locate. Good luck with your choice and a sincere thanks for your service.

 

That orange is a pretty cool color, but when it comes down to spending my own money, I went with black.
