Whatever works.

Water is the thing you're trying to keep out of there, so use the plugs for the ports you aren't using.
And dielectric grease is a strong suggestion.

Because it's very Tiiiiight. LOL I had trouble getting mine to stick up there as well. Install shouldn't be a problem. Like everyone already said on here, small work area but it's pretty simple. Directions are very good.
