Street Bob Apes
Hi,hows things?
I'm thinking of 14" Apes for my Street Bob.I'm only 5' 6'' (don't laugh),are these going to be too much for me?Is anyone out there unlucky enough to be the same height running 14'' apes.I've got rid of the stock seat and have a la Pera sillouette solo.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

To find out what you will be most comfortable with, do this:
Sit on your bike.
Close your eyes.
Throw your hands out and let them settle where they are comfortable.
Have a friend measure from top of the tree, to hands.
Repeat until you get a fairly consistant measurement.
Purchase bars that are as close to that as possible.
It's not a guessing game.

grab,i'm about the same height as you and I ran 16's for a while. They were pretty comfy on short runs but over a longer distance (200 or more miles) I would get a pain in between my shoulders. I just swapped them for 13's and now have no issues on longer rides. My advice would be to go with the 14's and if you find them to be too high or uncomfortable, you can swap them pretty easily for 12's or 13's without changing all your cables again.

Get these...very affordable, MUCH less a pain than swapping out bars and you can install easily without changing cables or anything.
They are 2in riser adapters.
PM me for the info... they came from a user here. Not sure if he still makes them, but they work great!
