Default Turn signals as driving lights

Ever since I replaced my cheap LED bulbs on the back with some good ones from Radiantz lighting I knew I needed to do the front as well. I went to order some the other day and saw some that make them more of a driving light so I thought I would try them.

The difference in brightness is amazing. It really adds alot more light to the front. I am not sure that clear bulbs for blinkers are legal but I like them.

Yeah, that does look good BUT, you're right, white lights are not allowed as sigs. Too bad there isn't something out there that has two sets of lights in one housing. One amber set on the outer circle that works a sigs and then another halogen spot used as driving lights. Hmmmmm....That sound interesting.

Extremely cool. It not only makes you a lot brighter, it gives other drivers on the road a way to judge your distance better. Humans lose their ability to judge distance at night with only one reference point. You now have three.

I'd say it is not only cool looking, your safety factor just tripled. I'm putting it on my 'to do' list.

Ya I figured they wouldnt be legal but I dont think I will have any issues around here. I wanted them to make me more visible and I think they do that very well.

They make a set like your talking about for the rear that are red in the middle with a amber ring around the outside for the blinker but didnt see anything like that for the front.

Pic in the daylight to better show the difference from the first pic

Check out this thread. Might give you the best of both worlds (legal turn sigs and driving lights).

looks good. how do they light up the road?
took the new WG out at night for the first time last night. Compared to the RKC with dricing lights, i can see $hit on the road in front of me.

was looking for some driving ligths that wont look like crap.

or maybe my headlight needs to be adjusted. looked like it was always hitting the rear view mirror of the car in front of me..
