Default Does anyone have the Bub lakester?

I am seeking info on performance and sound of this pipe as people have been asking me and I know nothing about it. I have read all about it at Bub but want real world info. Please let me know. Thanks. Drew

I do... Unfortunately I only have "seat of the pants" numbers. I installed the Lakester and SE Heavy breather at the same time. Then it went to the dealer for the 1000 mi service. At that time they performed the 103 download. I've put about 1700 miles since those mods. It runs and sound really good. From the comments by other Bubs owners (ie: Bubs 7 2:1) the sound is pretty close to theirs. Here's a link to the video I posted which is on a post I put out back when I first got it installed.

That sounds wicked. I love it. Why do you have the 103 download? Do you have a 103 build?

The engine internals are all stock. The download/map is what the dealer did (for fuel management? at least that's what I figured).

Personally, I think it's a tad too loud for me. Then again, I switched from an SE street legal. Tone wise, it's low and mean. Better than the VH Comp.

Can't really compare performance for me cuz I switched to Bub the same time I upgrade to a 103. Can be the map/tuning but the low end (below 2250 rpm) performance improvement is not as impressive as at higher rpm's.
