Was that sarcasm or didn't you know Dynas weren't made until 1994? The lowrider started years before that.
People see the rear shocks and assume we have sportys. If you know the slightest bit about Harley's you can spot the differences in half a second. Different frame, gas tank, engines, drive-side, battery box etc, etc, etc

I just tell people I ain't a bagger guy...
The funniest time was a guy who pulled up next to me at a stoplight - on a freaking Sportster!!
He excitedly asked me "is that the new Nightster?"
I said, no, it's a Super Glide. He did a double take and then looked embarrassed...
I guess he doesn't spend as much time as I do, out in the garage staring at my bike.

Usually if anyone comments on my bike they will ask what type of Harley it is or how big is the engine or just "hey thats a nice lookin bike". In your case if the driver stops on your left just point to the clutch and chain case and if he stops on your right just point to the battery cover, that should clear it up.
