Stock for stock, that Sportster should eat you up...

 

The other day I was stuck behind a guy in Porsche Carrera in the parking garage. He was trolling ever so slowly looking for just the "right" spot. He finally parked and I grabbed a spot nearby. I jumped out of the truck and we had the following exchange.

Me
I didn't know they started making the Carmen Ghia again; that's a nice looking car.

Him
Its not a Volkswagon, its a Porsche Carrera.

Me
Hmm, but it looks like a newer version of the Carmen Ghia. Have you ever seen one? They're nearly identical.

Him
You could buy 10 Carmen Ghias for what this car cost.

Wow! If I was gonna pay that much for a car I'd get something that didn't look like an old Volkswagon model. You know, like a Corvette or something. There's no mistaking a Vette. We'll, have a good day;-)

 

When I had my Sabre 1100, I had numerous compliments on my 'Fat Boy'. lol
Actually had one guy say it when there was a Fat Boy parked next to me.

I brought my wide glide over to where a friend works to see it the day I bought it. Another acquaintance of mine that works there walked out and said "Oh, you bought a small bike huh?" I felt like slapping him.
